Hands-on with the HTC Legend (with video)
When the HTC Hero was announced in June of last year , I would have made a valiant effort to eat my own head if it meant I got to own one. It was just so damned pretty . I just got the opportunity to play with its brand-new successor, the HTC Legend - and, well.

Website Conversion Facilitator SeeWhy Raises Another $2 Million
Andover, MA-based SeeWhy has raised a second round of funding from most of its current shareholders, adding $2 million to the $4.5 million it secured earlier this year. The company plans to add additional investors alongside those investing in this round through 2010.
The startup markets tools that help ecommerce sites and online retailers up their conversion rates by giving them the opportunity to automatically or manually try to make people who were close to purchasing goods or services on their website but left the process before completion, for whatever reason, come back and finish the cycle.
SeeWhy refers to this concept as ‘re-marketing’ or ‘re-conversion’ and claims rapid follow-up of people who drop out of the buying process can increase conversation rates up to 50%. True or not, I think it’s an interesting idea, particularly for vendors who have the resources needed to follow up those guilty of ‘abandonment’ practically in real-time.
The company’s suite of products is named Abandonment Tracker, is entirely SaaS-based, and comes with a free version with a limited feature set so website owners can test the waters before going pro. Companies like Mastercard, Diageo, Radware and eCourier.co.uk are some of SeeWhy’s current customers.

Review: eMotion Social-Connect Digital Photo Frame Plus A Giveaway
I’ve suffered much when it comes to digital photo frames. I purchased a number of frames from multiple manufacturers for multiple members of my family with the expectation that I would, for time immemorial, be able to email said frames images, thus allowing family members the opportunity to see new photos without having to drag them over from the computer. Alas and alack each one of these frames (Damn you, SmartParts!) has failed and their attendant services have gone out of business.
I’m an optimistic fellow, however, and they say digital picture frame usage after being burned by picture frames in the past is a triumph of hope over experience. Well fool me again, picture frames, because I’m going to talk about the eMotion Social-Connect Digital Photo Frame with LifeGoRound.
Remix On Your iPhone Like It’s Your Birthday With 50 Cent’s Sound Lab App

A plethora of rap and hip-hop artists have jumped at the opportunity to create branded iPhone apps, Including T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Lil’ Jon, Soulja Boy and P. Diddy. Now 50 Cent is getting an app of his own, in partnership with Vitamin Water. The free app, called 50’s Sound Lab App, lets users create and share their own mixes of “Baby By Me”, a single off of 50 cent’s latest album, Before I Self Destruct. You can download it here.
The app is powered by mobile digital entertainment studio Moderati’s Romplr remix platform. Romplr allows fans to interact with music by creating their own versions of tracks by artists. Users can record and share their personal mixes via Facebook, email, or on Romplr’s site.
Romplr was first implemented on Soulja Boy’s pp, which was actually $4.99 in the app store, instead of free. But 50 Cent’s app only offers one song to remix, while Soulja Boy let users remix several of his tracks.
In addition to being able to remix the single, 50 Cent is giving the user that creates the best remix with the app (and shares it on the app’s branded site), the opportunity to meet him. Compared to the other rap-focused iPhone apps out there, this one falls a little short in my opinion. It only lets you remix one song, and it seems for like more of an opportunity for 50 Cent to create buzz around his new single and promote Vitamin Water than to actually create a broadly entertaining app.
That being said, its free and could provide for some interesting and funny songs. Plus, songs can easily be shared to social networks. If the app could include some of 50 Cent’s more popular songs, such as “In Da Club,” perhaps it could give T-Pain’s popular app a run for it’s money.

FIFA 10 on October 2 for every damn system ever
EA Sports will release FIFA 10 on October 2 for every system ever created by man, including the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS. (It’ll be the last FIFA game for the PS2.) Wayne Rooney will be on the cover of the UK version of the game, but I have no idea who will be on the American version.

Zazzle Goes To The Dogs, Expands Business Abroad

Zazzle, the site that lets you custom-design and sell everything from T-shirts and sneakers to postage stamps and skateboards, is launching localized sites and offerings in Australia and Canada. The company has also expanded its existing UK site, which was launched in late 2008, to the greater European market by accepting payments in Euros. And for pet-friendly users, Zazzle has unveiled a line of custom dog apparel, letting sellers put the same designs on items for both dogs and humans.
Zazzle allows anyone the opportunity to become product designers and to earn money by selling designs on a variety of items displayed in custom store fronts, free of charge to the seller. Designs and images can be screen printed or embroidered on items. Sellers earn royalties from the sale of products they design and can also allow consumers to further customize their creations.
The design site has also unveiled a suite of new “seller-friendly” tools to spice up sellers’ offerings. Sellers can now uber-customize their online storefronts, creating a branded destination for their products. Sellers can also enable a a filtering mechanism to specify which designs can be featured in different products in various colors. Additionally, Zazzle has implemented a Flash-powered bulk image upload tool that is compatible with Macs and PCs.
It’s good to see that Zazzle is growing by expanding its reach and offerings. Earlier this year, the startup underwent a round of layoffs, letting 15% of the company’s staff go due to the sluggish economy. Competitors include CafePress and Spreadshirt, which both have an international presence.
