Xachi Pets fuse iPhones and Stuffed Animals into one Cute and Cuddly iToy

What do you get when you mix a Unicorn and a Nexus One? I’ve got no idea – but if you put an iPhone and Furby together, you get a Xachi pet. Announced last week at the American International Toy Fair, a Xachi (pronounced “ZAH-chee”) Pet is an iPhone-controlled toy. It looks kind of like a Furby with a giant LED screen in place of its face. And, yes, you interface with your Xachi Pet through your iPhone/iPod.
It’s pretty a simple concept, but it’s the first time I’ve seen someone pull it off. The closest thing to an iPhone-enabled toy on the market is a helicopter with your iPhone as a remote control, and that’s not exactly cute and cuddly.

The long wait is finally over, friends. While color-changing LED showerheads are nothing new , there’s finally one with a remote control included. Chinavasion sells the product and asks the question we’d all ask sooner or later: Who needs an LED shower head with a remote control?

These aren’t the fancy-pants ESPN remotes that we’ve written about here on CrunchGear in the past. But they are universal remotes with dedicated ESPN buttons for those of you who watch a lot of sports and want a quick way to flip to between billiards on ESPN and bowling on ESPN2 at 3AM on a Tuesday.

Hot Wheels is about to launch “Stealth Rides,” tiny, folding Hot Wheels cars that are – get this – remote controlled. The cars are about as big as standard hot wheels and fold into the shape of a thick credit card.

MSI Demos Three New PCs at CES
MSI has unveiled three new concept products at CES where the company is trying redefine the way consumers will interact with digital information in their homes. The first product that was demoed was a 3D all in one PC. MSI has developed the world’s first 3D All-in-One PC which comes with wireless 3D glasses, where users can have the ultimate life-like gaming experience and 3D HD movie experience with the computer’s 24-inch display.
