Review: POD X3 Digital Guitar Amp Modeler
As immature as it sounds, I was originally suspect of Line 6 products because I did not like the name of their Variax guitar line. (Whew, glad that’s off my chest). But while working on an audio project a while back, I picked up a Line 6 TonePort UX2 amp simulator/tone modeler in order to record some guitar parts.

Ties made from old cassette tapes sort of feature audible playback
These $90 neckties are made from 50% cotton and 50% old audio tapes. There’s more, there’s more. If you have the time, interest, and/or wherewithal to take apart an old tape player, you can actually run the tape head back and forth over the tie to kinda, sorta reproduce the sounds originally found on the cassette

New Splitfish PS3 controllers feature freaky button layout
I like the Splitfish philosophy. Not everyone wants a dogbone-shaped controller or likes the way the buttons are laid out — personally I’ve never much liked the Dual Shock setup. I’m not saying the Splitfish is the thing for me exactly, but I appreciate having options
