Acer shipping 3D notebook in October
It appears that, come hell or high water, companies are determined to push 3D features. Acer’s the latest, announcing a 15.6-inch notebook due in late October that features software to convert regular 2D movies into 3D, along with movies specifically shot in 3D. You’ll need to wear special glasses but the company is apparenlty working on a laptop model that doesn’t require glasses.

XpPhone is a giant phone that runs XP or a small computer that makes phone calls
The idea that this “phone” runs Windows XP is kind of a stretch, yet it’s being called the XpPhone. It’s pretty much a UMPC or MID, though, that happens to make phone calls because, man oh man, would you need some billowy Hammer Pants to carry this thing around in your pocket as your primary phone.

The myTouch 3G: T-Mobile USA’s name for the HTC Magic
This is a picture of the box of T-Mobile’s version of the HTC Magic, called the myTouch 3G. It should be available sometime this summer.

Toshiba Mini NB200 netbook to invade the Europe
Another day, another netbook . This time around is the 10.1-inch Toshiba Mini NB200, which seems like it could be a high-end or even professional netbook if there is such a thing.
