PostHeaderIcon P55-based motherboard reviews hit the net

While the latest in motherboard news may not be particularly thrilling, if you’re planning on building a PC any time soon (or just ordering one), it pays to be aware of what’s out there. I’m going to be putting something together myself in a few months, after these boards have clashed for a while and a clear victor remains, and while I’m not yet decided on AMD vs Intel, if it’s the latter I’ll definitely be running a P55. The X58 chipsets which dominate enthusiast rigs these days will slowly be going the way of the dodo as P55 matures, but the first crop seems to be getting pretty positive reviews.

PostHeaderIcon 32GB on your keychain, and it’s even water resistant

These little Super Talent drives are truly small - a little longer than a quarter is wide, and about about 75¢ tall. But the buggers have just been expanded to hold 32GB of data, and they won’t get hurt by water to boot! My Corsair Survivor is practically waterproof as well, but these Super Talent ones are smaller and cheaper.

PostHeaderIcon Mimico’s Star Wars Mimobot Series 4 reveals multiple Darth Vaders

We’ve seen these flash drives from Mimico before, but the fourth run on the Star Wars series has been updated with “Unmasked” versions of Darth Vader and Clone Captain Rex. One in six Unmasked Mimobot Vaders will reveal Hayden Christensen’s Anakin face while the rest feature the Anakin we’re used to from Episode VI. Mimico will reveal a Luke Skywalker Unmasked Darth Vader Mimobot in July at Comic Con, which will only be available during the show and limited to 500 units

PostHeaderIcon Pretty much every PSP game released after October 1 will be on PSN

Quick and easy: Sony says that “that just about everything hitting after October 1 will be available for download.” That’s for the PSP Go! , mind you. Now, it will be up to third-pary publishers whether or not they want to release their game on the PlayStation Network or not, but what kind of dumb publisher would throw away PSP Go! compatibility right out of the gate

PostHeaderIcon Worlds Collide: USB flash drive is also an MP3 player

Behold a USB flash drive that also doubles as a simple MP3 player. You supply your own microSD card, actually, so maybe think of this as a $16 memory-less MP3 player that doubles as a USB flash drive. Whatever you do, DON’T compare this to the iPod Shuffle as this device does not appear to support random playback
