Refurbished first-gen Kindle for $299
Looks like Amazon is unloading some first-generation refurbished Kindles at $299, a so-so savings over a new second generation unit at $360. As the resident cheapskate here at CrunchGear, even I would pony up the extra $60 for the newer version, but this refurb deal might be worth monitoring in the hopes that the price drops even more. At $269 or even $249, this would begin to look more and more enticing.

Samsung finally went ahead and did what we’ve expected them to do today with the announcement of their first Android powered handset, the I7500. Better late than ever, I say. The I7500 is no slouch in the feature department with a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch-screen, GPS, Wi-Fi, and 8GB of internal memory.
