PostHeaderIcon Windows Phone UI Leaks Ahead Of Schedule

We’ve gotta give it to Microsoft: considering that they’ve been working on Windows Mobile 7 for at least a year or two, the fact that they’ve kept its user interface completely under wraps until a few hours before it’s expected to be officially announced is ridiculously impressive.

Alas, a leak was bound to happen at some point, even if it is at the very last minute.

PostHeaderIcon Sanyo CES Press Conference

Sanyo officially joined the Panasonic group as of December 21st, 2009. This decision was “due to the rapid decline of the global economy,” according to Sanyo North America president Masami Murata. “This alliance will maximize and optimize Sanyo’s corporate value and will open the way for our company to realize further business development.” Sanyo will maintain its listing of common stock, the “SANYO” brand name, and its business identity

PostHeaderIcon Check out pics from the $26,000 Leica S2

Have you ever wondered what pictures look like from a camera that costs more than man cars? I have. I know there are a lot of professionals out there that view DSLRs like the Canon 5D and Nikon D700 as entry-level because they have flashes that cost more than those cameras.

PostHeaderIcon News Flash: Psystar is not a faceless corporation, it’s two dudes in Miami

For some reason I always imagined Psystar differently. The company has been making Hackintoshes – against Apple’s wishes – for nigh on a year and their various lawsuits and machinations have given lazy Hackintoshers everywhere the opportunity to buy OS X hardware for a fraction of the cost of a new Mac and, more recently, the ability to Hackintosh almost anything. Well, it turns out this hive of industry is actually just two dudes, Robert Pedraza and his brother Rudy

PostHeaderIcon Did AT&T Just Start Rolling Out MMS For The iPhone?

A few hours ago, we got a tip from one of our readers that they’d popped into their iPhone messaging app this morning, only to find that they’d suddenly gained the ability to send MMS. We chalked it up as a fluke - AT&T promised it would launch on September 25th, after all, and they haven’t exactly been punctual about this whole thing thus far. Two whole weeks early? It seemed shaky.

Then a few hours later, we got another one. And another.

PostHeaderIcon Confirmed: Virgin Mobile is getting the LG Rumor 2

It’s a big ol’ day of scoop confirmation for us. First the Nokia N900 turns out to be an exact spec-for-spec match with what we said it would be back in May. Just a few hours later, we’re seeing confirmation that Virgin Mobile is getting the LG Rumor2 - just as we said they would back in July.
